Nikhil & Jay on CBeebies - schedule announced.

Nikhil & Jay, the preschool sitcom featuring the characters from Nikhil and Jay, from the book series. The book series is illustrated by Soofiya and published by Otter-Barry Books.

The TV series is produced in partnership with me and King Banana TV, Paperowl Films with funding from the BBC, Northern Ireland Screen and CAKE Entertainment.

After more than two years of work into it, the series will be now available to watch on CBeebies and BBC iPlayer from Saturday, 19th October onwards.

I’m so excited that children across the UK will be able to watch a really funny show featuring Nikhil & Jay. I’m so proud that Nikhil and Jay is the first British children’s animation to focus on dual South Asian and English heritage and many children from dual-heritage background will see themselves represented on screen.
