Welcome to 2025! It is a cliche but the past year of 2024 went too quickly just like when I was 24 years of age. Was I having too much fun or was I too busy or both? Read my reflections here.
As I mentioned last week, I’ve been reflecting on what I accomplished in 2024 and planning ahead into 2025 - the pit-stops on my creative journey!
And 2025 is here! It’s promising to be a busy year based on the books that will come out in 2025.
So here is what you can look out for:
In February, our sequel to Garland of Lights, Happy Holi will be out. Illustrated by Amberin Huq and published by Bloomsbury Children’s. The book will come out in UK and the US at the same time! Watch out for a grand reveal soon!
In March, Ballet Besties - Book 3 will be out and Book 4 will be out later in 2025. I co-wrote this series with Yasmine Naghdi, the principal ballerina of The Royal Ballet and illustrated by Paula Franco.
In May, a new non-fiction picture book - A Billion Ways to be: Celebrating Our Diverse World will be out. This book is illustrated by Ana Sanfelippo. Watch out for the cover-reveal in due course!
